Stephanie Little manages the day to day operations at Newington Farm and brings with her a lifetime of experience with quality thoroughbred racehorses. Previously an Assistant Trainer for Peter Moody, Head Foreman for Peter & Paul Snowden (Darley) and most recently at Lloyd Williams’ Macedon Lodge in Victoria. Abroad she has worked as Head Forman for Newmarket (UK) trainer Jeremy Noseda, in Singapore for John Meagher and for His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashin Al Maktoum’s endurance team.
Stephanie’s life has been spent working with high performance thoroughbreds as a jockey, owner, breeder and trainer. At Newington Farm, she oversees the care and nutrition of our client’s horses at the farm, and is the first point of contact with trainers and owners - tailoring each horse’s time here to their individual needs.
Julian Blaxland &
Julian Blaxland & Kacy Fogden are well known and respected in Australasian and international thoroughbred circles through their combined 30 years experience. Working for many years with major players and quality horses alike, Julian founded bloodstock agency Blue Sky Bloodstock in 2006 and is a regular large scale buyer at local and US sales annually, working closely with trainers Anthony Freedman, Toby Edmonds and Gai Waterhouse / Adrian Bott as their bloodstock agent as well as private clients and renowned breeding operations including Newhaven Park, Yarraman Park and Arrowfield Stud.
The granddaughter of NZ trainer Ashley Fogden, Kacy moved to Australia in 2007, becoming an integral part of the development of major Australian racing and breeding operation Aquis Farm. Kacy currently acts as Aquis' Racing & Pre-Training Manager and is kept busy in this role, co-ordinating & managing some 150+ racehorses on a daily basis for Aquis Farm and it's clients.
The couple purchased Newington Farm in 2018 with the objective to offer valued clients a world-class, specialised agistment property ideally located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Newington's varied undulation, quality pasture and nutrition program, and expert horsemanship offers local and interstate trainers a high class, boutique operation to agist their valuable bloodstock in the warmth of the Queensland climate. Kacy and Julian live at Newington Farm with Isabelle (4), puppy Scout and ginger cat Geoffrey.
